Chronic sinus pain, pressure and congestion impact you mentally as well as physically, and can leave you feeling tired and frustrated.
- Do coughing and congestion prevent you from sleeping at night?
- Do facial pressure and sinus pain keep you from concentrating at work?
- Do frequent sinus infections leave you exhausted?
- Does your frequent sinus drip or bad breath embarrass you in public?
You go to the doctor for your sinus symptoms. You are prescribed antibiotics. You temporarily feel better, only to have the sinus symptoms return. Do you feel stuck in a cycle of sinus problems? Are you thinking, “My sinus problem is just something I’m going to have to live with.” You may be suffering from chronic sinusitis.
If you are tired of dealing with the frequent congestion, sinus pain and pressure, headaches and low energy caused by chronic sinusitis, you may benefit from a sinus treatment called balloon sinus dilation (balloon sinuplasty).
This in-office procedure is recommended when prescription medication is not effective, and before major sinus surgery is necessary to permanently open blocked sinuses.
No more frustration and low energy from mouth breathing, endless sinus infections, sinus pressure and sinus headaches. Imagine enjoying year-round outdoor activities with family and friends because you can breathe freely through your nose.
Cynthia suffered with repetitive sinus infections and had poor results treating with medications and antibiotics. She finally chose the balloon sinuplasty procedure which restored her ability to breathe normally, sleep well, and enjoy daily energy. Listen to her testimony about the relief she found after her balloon sinus dilation
Why Do I Have Sinus Pain?
Irritants you inhale can cause sinus inflammation. As the linings and passageways of the sinuses swell, normal airflow and drainage are interrupted, and the sinus cavities become stagnant. Bacteria begin to grow, and infection results, causing more swelling, pain, and pressure.
Balloon Sinus Dilation
Balloon sinus dilation (balloon sinuplasty) is a procedure based on cardiology techniques used to clear blocked blood vessels. It’s a simple, convenient, proven alternative to traditional sinus surgery.
A tiny balloon catheter is inserted into the sinus opening and inflated to expand the passageway. Normal sinus airflow and drainage are restored when the balloon is deflated and removed. The in-office procedure is performed under local anesthesia and typically lasts about an hour. Most patients are able to resume normal activities within 24-48 hours.
